Themon xx e.Montal u.Therma eu.Technion
Themon was my first horse and I shared him with my older sister. He was given to us in 1977 when I was 14 years old and Themon was 3. He had a injury of the superficial digital flexor tendon on his front leg. We saved him from the butcher and the first year we could only lead him for one hour a day. But in retro aspect, that is the best way of getting to know eachother.
When we finally got to ride him he was a very energetic and crazy young gelding. It took a lot of patience to calm him down. Eventually he turned into a very well behavied boy. We took some riding lessons together and also participated in a few small jumping competitions. I loved him dearly and for 5 years we had the best of times. By the time I turned 19 years old I was into so many different things, motorcycles, playing guitar, sports, school..That I decided it was best to sell him. It was a very heavy day for me the day I saw him roll off in the horse transport. I was fighting not to cry, but I think I should had.. Maybe if I would had let my feelings out I wouldn't have had this hang up for so many years. I dreamt about him so many times, at night he would come to my dreams and he was mine again. Then I would wake up sad it was just a dream..
When I decided in 2010 I wanted to buy a new horse I first started to look at all different types of horses when it suddely hit me! I wanted a young, chesnut thoroughbred.
Now I'm the lucky owner of Burning Flame and I love her so much but Themon will always hold a piece of my heart.
LOVE YOU THEMON!
